Vacuum Nitriding Furnace is a kind of equipment used for nitriding metal materials. 1. Vacuum system: Vacuum nitriding furnace is equipped with internal vacuum system, the air inside the furnace chamber is pumped out by vacuum pump, so that a negative pressure environment is formed inside the furnace chamber. Maintaining a high vacuum is the key to the nitriding process, which can effectively remove oxygen and other impurities and prevent oxidation reactions that may occur during the nitriding process.


2. Heating system: The vacuum nitriding furnace has built-in heating elements, such as resistance heaters or induction heating coils, which can provide high temperature heating. 3. Nitrogen atmosphere control system: In the vacuum nitriding furnace, there is also a nitrogen atmosphere control system for controlling the flow and pressure of nitrogen atmosphere. When the metal sample reaches the required temperature, it starts to inject the pre-prepared high purity nitrogen, so that the nitrogen reacts with the metal surface to form the nitriding layer.


4. Cooling system: After the nitriding process is completed, the vacuum nitriding furnace will automatically start the cooling system to rapidly cool the metal sample to room temperature. The cooling rate and method have an important influence on the quality and performance of the final nitrided layer, and usually need to be precisely controlled.


5. Atmosphere monitoring system: In order to ensure the stability and controllability of the nitriding process, the vacuum nitriding furnace is also equipped with an atmosphere monitoring system, which can detect the pressure, temperature and composition of the nitrogen atmosphere in the furnace in real time, as well as the thickness and quality of the nitrided layer on the surface of the metal sample.
